In this tutorial i will show you how to model a plastic bottel using the standered and basic tools like "Lathe,Editable poly For illustrasion i have added a sequance of images to explaine breafly.

This is the final image of this tutorial and offcourse what we are going to make. |
So lets start |

Draw the basic shape using "Spline Tool". (figure 1) |

Then add a "Lathe Modifier" to make the lathed object and leave the other value as default. (figure 2) |

After the lathe operation convert the shape to "Editable poly". (figure 3) |
 |
Select the object and switch to Modify Panel, select the "Editable Poly" and Expand the tree if its not then select "Edge" from the rollout . (figure 4) |

Then select the edge as shown in .(figure 5) |
